Hi, I’m Charlotte

I’m a digital embroidery practitioner based in West Yorkshire, specialising in bespoke embroidery for the HETV, film, and theatre industries. With a First-Class Honours degree in Costume with Textiles, my work is grounded in a deep understanding of garment construction and a meticulous attention to detail, skills that are essential in creating embroidery that integrates seamlessly with costume design.

My career began in theatre, working across wardrobe departments in Yorkshire and London, where I developed a strong foundation in performance-led costume. Over time, I saw the creative potential in combining digital embroidery with traditional costume practices and made the decision to invest in my own equipment, including the industry-standard Melco EMT16X. This was the same machine I used to produce the award-winning embroidered costumes featured in my Final Major Project, which reflected my commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and storytelling through textiles.

Today, I work closely with costume professionals to create unique, high-quality embroidery that enhances character, supports narrative, and meets the fast-paced demands of production.
